I’m up to my elbows in watercolours (?) finishing up some new pages of LOS, so this ‘ll be a quick one.
One of the most beautiful meetings in history:
I believe William had just been humiliated after being rejected by a “cunning coy” society woman.
He was introduced to Catherine, told her his sad story, and then asked if she pitied him.
Catherine replied, yes I do.
William said, then I love you.
The rest is history.
We cannot enjoy the smile
Until we can pity the frown.
🙌
Yes, best ever relationship forged on the rebound! Not normally the best foundation but seemed to work for the Blakes 🙂
JUST WOW
Hi, John - you know I’ve always loved the Catherine panels, and I look forward to including and citing them in my book! Great project as ever - Amy
